A fuse is an element for protecting the electrical system. A fuse will trip (i.e. it will blow) in the event of a failure or improper interventions in the electrical system. If an electrical device is not working, check whether the respective fuse is blown. The conductor should be intact. If Fiat replace the unit it is likely to be with another unit with the same design fault. Cartronix say they beef up the unit in some way when they repair it. The only evidence of this to my untrained eye is that the warning lights are brighter when they are on but I have no reason to disbelieve them. (wheel up arch liner out (LHS) ) pump pulls upwards off the bottle ( (dont loose the rubber seal into the bottle)) and unclip the multi plug for the electrics. It’s seems more likely that there’s a fault with the wiper operating-stalk, or with the wiper-motor unit, or even with the vehicle’s ECU.
